I’m Jess, the REAL face behind the screen & the mastermind of your gatherings. This is my husband, Mark….he’s the muscle that allow it all to happen and this is our daughter, Alorah.

We started Pop Up Picnic Long Island shortly after Covid began. Our wedding plans, like many others, were effected by the restrictions put in place. We ended up doing a backyard wedding and LOVED it. We were reminded of not only the beauty of the outdoors, but the importance of an intimate gathering with your loved ones. About 1 month after the wedding, I had a dream one night to start a luxury pop-up picnic business, woke up at 2am and immediately started drafting the website. As The Notorious B.I.G. once said: “It was all a dream…” and here we are.

With 20+ [combined] years of experience in the high-end restaurant industry, we take pride in providing a luxury dining experience. We’ve done it all; From bussing & serving tables to muddling cocktails behind the bar. With this, we feel we’ve been able to take this experience to apply it to your gatherings. With us, your picnics will feel like a high-end dining experience, but in a more intimate setting, with flair.
